Lore

The temporal displacement of Edward City, the TRAT rescue operation, and the secrets of the mysterious feral survivors.

The Edward City Temporal Anomaly

Year 2010. Following the catastrophic Third Energy incident on Ibis Island, government-sponsored research into the revolutionary power source persists in extreme secrecy. An experimental power surge triggers an unprecedented dimensional rift, instantly engulfing a sprawling military research settlement known as Edward City — along with surrounding research laboratories and 1,300 military personnel and civilians — transporting the entire sector into a prehistoric era dominated by dinosaurs.

Operation T.R.A.T. & The Jungle Ambush

A specialized joint task force is formed to execute a high-risk search-and-rescue mission. The team is led by Lieutenant Dylan Morton of the U.S. Army's Tactical Reconnaissance and Acquisition Team (T.R.A.T.), accompanied by veteran intelligence operative Regina from S.O.R.T. and heavy weapons specialist David Falk. Equipped with heavy weaponry, patrol gunboats, and temporal tracking gear, the squad is deployed through a temporary time gate.

Disaster strikes immediately upon arrival: an overwhelming pack of Velociraptors attacks the forward base camp, followed by a ferocious assault from a Tyrannosaurus Rex that obliterates their primary extraction equipment, leaving Dylan, Regina, and David isolated in the Cretaceous jungle.

Submerged Reactors & The Mysterious Survivors

Splitting up to secure vital research components, Dylan and Regina fight through jungle corridors, toxic spore forests, and the flooded Third Energy underwater reactor. Along the way, they encounter bizarre, helmeted human survivors who exhibit feral behavior, lack verbal speech, and display animalistic hostility toward the operatives.

Regina captures one of the girls during an ambush at the Research Facility, though the captive later vanishes under mysterious circumstances during transit along the river.

The Fall of Edward City & David's Sacrifice

Breaching the security perimeter of Edward City, Dylan and Regina make a chilling discovery: the settlement was overrun long ago, and all original personnel have perished. After surviving brutal encounters with an enraged Triceratops herd and repelling the T-Rex with a combat tank, the team regroups at the riverside floodgate.

As David manually forces open the watergate mechanism, an Allosaurus attacks. In a selfless act of courage, David shoves Dylan into the river rapids to save his life before being mortally wounded by the predator.

Project Noah & The Year 3,000,000 AD

Washing ashore in an uncharted sector, Dylan meets the captive girl again — who identifies herself as Paula and leads him to the massive Time Gate Facility.

Inside the executive archives, a holographic recording left by an older Dylan reveals the staggering truth: the displaced world is not the prehistoric past, but the year 3,000,000 AD. In the future, an unstable temporal chain reaction threatened to erase Earth's biosphere, prompting humanity to launch Project Noah — transporting Cretaceous dinosaurs into the far future to save them until Earth could be rehabilitated, with children raised inside life-support pods. Paula is Dylan's own biological daughter.

The Orbital Laser & Regina's Promise

As a rogue survivor activates the facility's self-destruct sequence, the titanic Giganotosaurus launches a final assault on the Time Gate chamber. Coordinating with the orbital satellite defense grid, Dylan guides an orbital laser strike that completely vaporizes the leviathan.

With structural collapse imminent and Paula pinned under heavy fallen wreckage, Dylan refuses to abandon his daughter. Handing the Third Energy data disc to Regina, he orders her to step through the Time Gate back to the present, while Regina vows to find a way through the time stream to return and rescue them both.
