Items

The support drugs in Rion's pouch that don't attack, but keep his AP gauge under control — Delmeter, Skip, and Appolinar.

Not every drug in Rion's medicine pouch is a weapon — these three don't deal damage on their own, but managing them is just as important as landing a Nalcon blast. See Skills for the offensive PPECs.

Delmeter

AP Suppressant

Keeps Rion's AP gauge in check so a Short doesn't hit at the worst possible moment. Worth carrying at least one at all times — running out mid-fight is one of the most common ways to die.

Location
Common pickup throughout every stage
Effects
  • Lowers Rion's AP gauge, preventing an unwanted Short
  • Doesn't restore health — AP only

Skip

Level Booster

A short-term power spike. Popping one before a tough encounter — the Birdman fight especially — makes every PPEC hit noticeably harder for a while. Losing the extra level mid-fight is normal, not a sign you did something wrong.

Location
Common pickup, worth backtracking for
Effects
  • Temporarily raises Rion's PPEC level for stronger attacks
  • Effect wears off after a while

Appolinar

Backup PPEC

A rarer PPEC picked up late at the Babylon Hotel. Save it for when D-Felon runs out and you still need an edge against a boss.

Location
Room 204, Babylon Hotel
Effects
  • Extra offensive option once D-Felon runs dry against bosses
