Secrets
Step-by-step requirements for the Best Ending, special [???] relics, Rank S to M score thresholds, and post-game modes (Replay, Bounty, Nightmare).
The Best / True Ending
Extended Story EndingTo unlock the true happy ending of Parasite Eve II, strictly follow these 7 chronological steps before initiating the final boss encounters: 1. Speak with Kyle Madigan in the Dryfield bar prior to resting in Room 6 (before fighting Cannon Mouth). 2. Rescue Flint the hound by defeating Cannon Mouth in under 3 minutes. 3. Return to Dryfield via the Full Moon Gate (code 15) in Shelter B4 after disposing of the Trash Monster. 4. Save Pierce atop the Dryfield water tower, claim his SUV keys (Tactical Vest), and deliver 3 bags of ice from the motel icebox to receive the Ofuda talisman. 5. Call M.I.S.T. headquarters after reading Pierce's phone note in the B1 Pod Gantry Service area following Eve's rescue in Neo Ark. 6. Use Eve's Teddy Bear on Flint at the surface military camp to have him guide Aya back into The Shelter. 7. Rescue Pierce inside the Golem cryogenic freezer in The Shelter before descending to the Ultimate ANMC chamber.
- Extended FMV epilogue cinematic featuring Aya, Kyle, and young Eve
- Access to top-tier military weaponry at the underground garage truck (M249, MM1, Javelin, AS12)
- Optimal EXP and BP route to carry over into Replay and Bounty modes
Special Relics [???] (Equip vs Use)
Passive Combat TalismansGolden Rule: NEVER consume these 4 items directly from the inventory menu. Using them merely raises 1 level of magic before vanishing forever. However, equipping them in your armor attachments grants permanent passive game-changing advantages.
- Holy Water: decreases all incoming damage by -25% while equipped in armor
- Skull Crystal: boosts all outgoing firearm and weapon damage by +25% while equipped
- Ofuda: increases offensive and restorative Parasite Energy potency by +25% while equipped
- Medicine Wheel: guarantees rare weapon drops and bonus items upon defeating specific encounters and bosses
