The Courtyard & Guardhouse

Collect the Square Crank from the shed outside the mansion. Use it on the pool control box to drain the water. Cross the pool, ride the elevator down, and proceed through the dog-infested courtyard path to reach the Guardhouse.

Inside the Guardhouse, enter Room 002 (Wasp Room) to pick up the Red Book. Check the billiard table in the recreation room to note the numbers on the billiard balls for the keypad door.

Use the key found in the bathroom to open Room 003. Interact with the bookshelf and swap the fake book for the Red Book to reveal the secret door leading to Plant 42.

Plant 42 Battle Strategy (Impact: Resource Consumption)

• Option A — Mix V-Jolt in Pharmacy B1 (Recommended): Apply V-Jolt to roots in basement B1 to wither Plant 42 instantly, making the boss fight take only 2-3 shotgun shots.

• Option B — Direct Boss Attack: Enter boss room directly. Plant 42 grabs Jill, and Barry arrives automatically with a Flamethrower to incinerate it!

  Target the main bulb when it opens its petals. 3-4 Flame Rounds will destroy it completely. Retrieve the Helmet Key from the fireplace after the plant disintegrates.
