Enemies

Bandersnatches, Hunter IIs, Nosferatu, and Alexia Ashford's mutations: weaknesses and survival tactics.

Zombies (Rockfort Inmates & Guards)

Encounter

Umbrella prison guards, inmates, and laboratory technicians infected by the T-Virus following Wesker's airstrike. In Code Veronica, downward knife slashes trip zombies immediately, allowing you to slash them on the floor and conserve precious ammo.

Location
Rockfort Prison, Military Training Facility, Antarctic Base
Recommendations
  • Combat Knife (aim downward at legs) or M93R / Glock 17
  • Slash fallen zombies on the ground to conserve ammunition

Cerberus (Infected Dobermans)

Encounter

Infected guard Dobermans. Highly aggressive pack hunters capable of leaping at characters' throats to knock them down.

Location
Prison Graveyard, Palace Courtyard, Airfield Tarmac
Recommendations
  • M93R Handgun / SPAS 12 Shotgun
  • Fire as they begin their sprinting leap, then wait for them to stand before shooting again

Bandersnatch

Elite

An experimental mass-produced humanoid B.O.W. Characterized by a severely atrophied left arm and a massive, elastic right arm capable of stretching across entire rooms, grabbing characters from high ledges, and delivering crushing blunt attacks.

Location
Military Training Facility, Private Residence, Antarctic Base
Recommendations
  • Gunpowder Explosive Arrows / SPAS 12 / Acid Rounds
  • Keep distance and move in zigzag patterns to evade its elastic arm

Hunter II (MA-125) & Sweeper

Elite

Advanced Hunters deployed and tracked via autonomous recon probes by Albert Wesker. The Sweeper (purple variant) moves with heightened agility and injects lethal venom. Their signature leaping slash can instantly decapitate characters in Caution or Danger status.

Location
Rockfort Island (Chris), Subterranean Antarctic Base
Recommendations
  • SPAS 12 Shotgun / Colt Python Magnum / Explosive Arrows
  • Carry Blue Herbs against Sweepers; their claws inject virulent poison

Giant Moth

Encounter

Massive mutated moths fluttering through the frozen corridors of the Antarctic base. They land on Claire or Chris's back, implanting venomous parasite larvae that continuously drain health.

Location
Antarctic Base Transit Corridor
Recommendations
  • Run past or blast with SPAS 12
  • Bring Blue Herbs; they latch onto characters and implant continuous poison larvae

Bosses

Gulp Worm (Giant Sandworm)

Boss · Medium

A colossal subterranean mutated annelid burrowing through the island's foundation. When playing as Chris, defeating it is required to rescue prison guard Rodrigo Juan Raval and retrieve Claire's lighter.

Location
Military Courtyard (Claire), Prison Subterranean Drainage (Chris)
Recommendations
  • Acid Rounds or Gunpowder Arrows
  • Fire right as it bursts from the ground before it attempts to swallow the character

Tyrant T-078

Boss · Deadly

Rockfort's premier heavy B.O.W. released by Alfred Ashford. Inside the flying cargo bay, combat space is dangerously restricted: stagger the monster with heavy fire until he bleeds profusely, then activate the hydraulic catapult switch to eject the heavy cargo crate, knocking the Tyrant out the open hatch.

Location
Rockfort Drawbridge (Phase 1), Cargo Transport Plane Hold (Phase 2)
Recommendations
  • Anti-B.O.W. Gas Rounds + Gunpowder Arrows + Hydraulic Cargo Catapult
  • Fire 3 Gas Rounds to cut his vitality in half, then hit the cargo release switch to knock him into the ocean

Nosferatu (Mutated Alexander Ashford)

Boss · Hard

Alexander Ashford, mutated after his own twin children used him as a human guinea pig for the prototype T-Veronica Virus. Bound in a straightjacket and exhaling deadly toxic gas, he lashes out with impaling tentacle appendages. Sniping his exposed beating heart with the MR-7C Sniper Rifle finishes him in 3 to 4 well-placed shots.

Location
Antarctic Base Helipad (Claire)
Recommendations
  • MR-7C Sniper Rifle / Gunpowder Arrows
  • Aim through the frozen fog using the telescopic scope directly at his exposed heart

Mutated Steve Burnside

Boss · Deadly

Steve transformed by an unfiltered strain of the T-Veronica Virus into a colossal green-skinned axe-wielding behemoth. His heavy strikes deal lethal damage; do not attempt to kill him. Sprint in the opposite direction until the cutscene triggers.

Location
Antarctic Base Throne Chamber (Claire)
Recommendations
  • DO NOT FIGHT — RUN IMMEDIATELY
  • Turn around and sprint away while healing until Alexia tentacles trigger Steve sacrifice

Alexia Ashford (Form 1 — Pyromantic Humanoid)

Boss · Hard

Alexia following her 15-year stasis. She advances with aristocratic composure, splashing flammable blood that ignites into walls of fire across the floor. Rapid Python magnum rounds will force her into her next stage.

Location
Antarctic Residence Grand Staircase (Chris)
Recommendations
  • Colt Python .357 Magnum / Flame or Acid Rounds
  • Maintain distance to prevent her igniting blood from trapping you in firewalls

Alexia Ashford (Form 2 & 3 — Insectoid Queen & Airborne Form)

Boss · Deadly

The zenith of the T-Veronica Virus. Phase 2 turns Alexia into a colossal tentacled insectoid queen. Once her carapace is shattered, her upper torso detaches as an airborne winged insect: switch to the Linear Launcher, aim in first-person, and score a direct hit to vaporize her and escape.

Location
Evacuation Launch Platform (Chris)
Recommendations
  • Gunpowder Arrows / Colt Python Magnum, then fire the Linear Launcher in first-person
  • Aim the Linear Launcher directly at her flying airborne torso to disintegrate her in one hit
