Mission 1 — Dylan: The Jungle & Military Facility

Dylan begins the mission equipped with a Shotgun (100 shells), the Machete as his sub-weapon, and basic medical supplies:

• Inspect the fallen soldier's corpse near your starting position to obtain a Med Pack S.
• Advance through the only open door into the jungle path.
• Three Velociraptors will ambush Dylan; eliminate them with Shotgun blasts or evade their lunges.
• Head to the right path to grab a Med Pack M, then return left and climb the ladder network through Jungle / North Route 4.
• Collect the Med Packs perched atop the metal crates before descending the ladders toward the large roll-up security gate.

• Pass through the roll-up gate to reach the Water Tower, the first safe room in the game.
• Pick up Dino File 1 (Velociraptor) located directly in front of you.
• Log onto the EPS Computer terminal to register your save and top off Shotgun ammunition.
• Climb the small interior ladder to claim the Rescue Pack on the upper platform.
• Exit through the far door to enter the facility access route.

• Fight through the raptor pack in the corridor and check the small side tunnel on the left for a Med Pack.
• Pass through the double security gates and descend the ladder to reach the exterior automatic doors.
• As you step outside, the Tyrannosaurus Rex returns for an ambush chase sequence:
  • Quickly turn 180 degrees and scale the first access ladder.
  • Sprint across the elevated platforms toward the foreground, grabbing the Med Pack on top.
  • Drop down the opposite ladder and rush straight into the Military Facility Entrance before the T-Rex can crush you.

• Inside the Military Facility Entrance, pick up Dino File 2 (Tyrannosaurus Rex) from the desk in the lower right corner.
• Head through the automatic door down the main corridor and enter the first door on the left (Medical Room).
• Grab the Key Plate resting on the examination bed in the corner.
• Access the EPS computer here to purchase the Solid Cannon if you have accumulated sufficient Extinction Points.
• Exit back into the hallway, defeat the two raptors, and return to the facility yard.
• Cross over to the opposite side and enter the Hardware Storage room.
• Approach the red-lit terminal and insert the Key Plate.
