Edward City Jungle & Volcanic Caves

Dylan takes command once more. Board the Patrol Ship terminal to buy the Chainmine (mandatory sub-weapon) and the devastating Anti-Tank Rifle (ATR):
- Head through the gate unlocked by Regina into Edward City Front.
- In the Haul Road near the crashed supply truck, collect Dino File 8 (Inostrancevia).
- Equip the Machete to clear the ivy blocking the gate into the jungle trail.
- Meet Regina by the marked tree bearing David's distress crest, then split up to secure the perimeter.
- Advance across the wooden bridge into Cave 1: equip the Chainmine to detonate the massive boulder obstructing the cavern entrance.

Navigating the Inostrancevia Caverns
Lava Caverns & Cliff Ladders
- Deep within the volcanic caverns, heavily armored prehistoric synapsids called Inostrancevia ambush Dylan:
Inostrancevia Combat Technique
Inostrancevia possess thick dorsal armor plating that deflects standard gunfire. Fire a Chainmine beneath their underbelly to flip them onto their backs, then immediately finish them off with a single blast from the Solid Cannon or Anti-Tank Rifle.
- Scale the iron access ladders, blast obstructive rocks using Chainmines, and cross the lava bridges.
- Exit the cavern gates to reach the perimeter save point. Log onto the EPS computer and climb the red ladder to the guard tower.

Mini-Game: The Allosaurus Nest
Allosaurus Nest Perimeter
- Control toggles between Regina and Dylan to coordinate tactical fire:
Allosaurus Nest Defense
Boss · Medium
A cooperative crossfire gauntlet clearing an Allosaurus nesting ground using signal flares and sniper support.
Attacks
Aggressive pouncing charges from wild Allosaurs
Heavy wooden barricades blocking ground traversal
Strategy
As Regina: Fire Signal Flares into the air targeting advancing Allosaurs and obstructive supply crates so Dylan can shell them from above.
As Dylan: Advance through the lower trench with heavy weaponry, blasting remaining Allosaurs and clearing supply boxes.
Switch back to Regina and follow the cleared catwalks to regroup at the final watchtower.

Boss Battle: The Enraged Triceratops
Command St. / Outer PerimeterDino File 9 (Triceratops)
- In the Outer Perimeter, inspect the fallen officer beside the computer to claim Dino File 9 (Triceratops).
- Save at the EPS terminal and step through the ruined security fence. An enraged pair of Triceratops storms the compound, forcing Dylan and Regina into the back of a military jeep:
Triceratops Jeep Chase
Boss · Hard
A high-intensity vehicular turret chase holding off two charging Triceratops through the jungle perimeter.
Attacks
High-speed ramming charges against the rear bumper
Flanking sprint ambushes leaping from the dense foliage
Strategy
Man the vehicle-mounted heavy turret gun; maintain sustained continuous fire on whichever Triceratops is closest.
Every direct hit momentarily halts their charge and pushes them back.
When the darker male retreats into the trees, track its rustling trajectory and open fire the instant it bursts back onto the road.
Never stop firing until both beasts collapse from exhaustion.
- David arrives in the nick of time, rescuing the squad from a raptor pack and guiding them into Edward City.

Edward City & The Tank Boss Duel
Edward City / Drug Store & Living QuartersLiving Quarters Key, Dino File 10 (Oviraptor), Gas Mask
- In Edward City, search the dead soldier near the jeep in front of Living Quarters 1 for Dino File 10 (Oviraptor).
- Climb the red ladder into the Drug Store, grab the medical supplies behind the counter, and inspect the corpse in the back room to obtain the Living Quarters Key.
- Navigate past Pteranodons in the streets and unlock the Living Quarters door.
- The Tyrannosaurus Rex crashes into the sector! Dylan leaps into an armored light combat tank:
T-Rex Tank Battle
Boss · Hard
An armored vehicle duel utilizing high-explosive tank shells and flash canisters to repel the relentless T-Rex.
Attacks
Devastating crushing jaw bites on the tank chassis
Massive body slams and tail sweeps
Strategy
Rotate the turret cannon with shoulder triggers and drive forward along the street.
Fire Flash Bombs (6 available) whenever the T-Rex approaches to blind and stagger the carnivore.
Demolish crates blocking the road with main cannon shells.
Keep moving forward up the elevated ramp, firing continuous shells into the T-Rex’s skull until it is knocked unconscious.
- The tank smashes through the perimeter barrier, forcing the T-Rex to withdraw.
- Pick up the Gas Mask lying behind the wrecked sedan. Dylan and Regina reconvene aboard the Patrol Ship.
