Sky Lagoon
The opening stage is a straight tutorial run — it exists to get you comfortable with basic movement and combat before the Maverick Select screen opens. The floating city of Sky Lagoon has been sabotaged by the Mavericks and slammed into the ground; you push forward through the wreckage of the impact to investigate who caused it.
Use the run to settle into Zero's dash, wall-climb and Z-Saber combos — the Mechaniloids here go down in a single slash.

Boss Fight: Eregion
Eregion
A giant dragon-shaped Mechaniloid that destroys parts of the stage as you close on it. There is no real difficulty here — its attacks are slow, repetitive and easy to sidestep. It's here purely as the tutorial's final practice.
Attacks- Slow sweeping bites as it tears through the stage
- Debris knocked loose from the collapsing scenery
Strategy- Pure tutorial fight — the base Z-Saber is all you need
- Its attacks are slow, repetitive and heavily telegraphed; dash out of each one and combo its head
