A father searches a fog-bound town for his missing daughter — and finds a cult, a curse, and a town that isn't quite the town anymore.
Harry Mason crashes his car on the outskirts of Silent Hill while swerving to avoid a girl standing in the road. When he wakes up, his adopted daughter Cheryl is gone and the town is buried in fog, its streets crawling with monsters and sliding without warning into a rusted, siren-warped nightmare version of itself. Searching for Cheryl pulls Harry into the business of a secret cult, a traumatized girl named Alessa Gillespie, and a small hospital town's rotten history — one he'll have to walk through the Otherworld itself to survive.
