Into the House of Truth
Past the Sol Room, the House of Truth reveals itself as Lorenzo's real domain — older, stranger, and more dangerous than anything Fiona has walked through so far. Move carefully; this area doesn't forgive careless exploring the way the earlier castle did.

The Cane of Caduceus
A wall in the Caverns of TruthCane of CaduceusFind the Cane of Caduceus mounted on a wall in the Caverns of Truth. You'll need it twice before the game is over — once now, and again during the escape that follows the next fight.

The Lava Pit Room
Bring the Cane of Caduceus to the Lava Pit Room and place it in the empty frame there. Doing so triggers the confrontation with Lorenzo's true form.

Boss Fight: Young Lorenzo
Young Lorenzo
Boss · DeadlyThis is the real final boss of the castle. Young Lorenzo shrugs off almost everything in Fiona's arsenal, so the fight leans entirely on Hewie's attacks and the room's environmental hazards rather than anything Fiona throws or swings herself.
Attacks- Fast, unpredictable physical assaults
- Largely immune to conventional weapons and thrown items
Strategy- Let Hewie do the actual damage — he's one of the few things that reliably hurts Young Lorenzo
- Use the room's fan switches to shift the lava rocks and create openings or hazards against him
- Keep panic in check; a panic-driven mistake here is costly
Winning the fight against Young Lorenzo doesn't end the chapter — his Azoth-saturated body reignites moments later as something far worse.

Flaming Lorenzo & the Collapsing House
What's left of Lorenzo returns as a burning, screaming corpse, and the House of Truth starts collapsing around Fiona at the same time. There is no fighting him here — any contact is instant death. Run for the Caverns of Truth immediately and don't stop to explore.

Sealing Him Away
Back in the Caverns of Truth, use the Cane of Caduceus on the statue puzzle to seal Flaming Lorenzo away for good. Once the statue locks into place, the path to a large, brightly lit door opens ahead.
Whichever door or route you take from here, the final cutscene always plays out back at the Castle Gate. What you actually see there — and which of the four endings you get — comes down to Hewie's friendship grade built up over the whole playthrough, plus whether you picked up the Castle Gate Key on a repeat run. Escaping the Castle Grounds
Push through to the large shining door and step through it. This is the last real action of the game — everything after is the ending cutscene your choices throughout the playthrough have earned Fiona and Hewie.
