    Final Weapon: Sigma

Sigma returns for one last confrontation in three fights back to back. Go in with full Sub Tanks and topped-off Weapon Energy — each phase has its own weakness weapon.

Sigma — Phase 1: Grim Reaper

    Sigma (Grim Reaper)

    Difficulty

A floating reaper form that teleports nonstop. Punish him out of every teleport with Rising Fire and wait out the scythe from the top of the wall.

    Attacks
    • Boomerang Scythe — throws his scythe; it spins and chases around the room
    • Energy Spheres — fires orbs that slowly home in on you
    • Teleport — vanishes and reappears constantly, above or to the sides
    Strategy
    • Weak against Rising Fire
    • The instant he reappears, get directly under or in front of him and use Rising Fire (X throws a rising fire uppercut)
    • When he throws the scythe, wall-climb to the very top and stay there until the weapon returns to him
    • Dash along the ground to slip past the homing energy spheres

Sigma — Phase 2: True Form

    Sigma (True Form)

    Difficulty

Faster and hits harder than the Reaper form. Live in the top wall corner, drop for a Lightning Web when he commits to an attack, then climb straight back up.

    Attacks
    • Scythe Throw — buries his scythe in a wall or the floor and electrifies most of the arena
    • Eye Laser — fires a laser from his eyes that sweeps across almost the whole floor
    • Charge — rushes across the screen at high speed
    Strategy
    • Weak against Lightning Web
    • Fire the web straight at him while he's on the ground, or right after any attack ends
    • The top corner of the wall is your safe spot — cling to the very top to avoid the eye laser and the charge
    • Only drop down when he throws the scythe into the upper wall

    Sigma — Phase 3: Earth & Sky

Sigma (Giant — Earth & Sky)

    Difficulty

The final phase is two massive targets sharing one room. Ride the spat-out heads up to the ground robot for Soul Body, and answer the floating head with Ground Hunter while dash-holding into its wind.

    Attacks
    • Giant Robot (Earth) — a massive floor-covering laser and bursts of fire; constantly spits out small floating heads (red and blue)
    • Floating Head (Sky) — a strong wind that pushes you toward the floor spikes, spits debris, and fires large energy bolts
    Strategy
    • Giant Robot weakness: Soul Body. Use the small floating heads as platforms — climb them until you're in front of the robot's head, then trigger Soul Body so the holographic clone slams into it
    • Floating Head weakness: Ground Hunter. Fire it straight into its face. During the wind attack, hold dash toward it constantly so it can't drag you into the spikes while you keep shooting
    • Both targets alternate attacks in the same room — deal with whichever is active and save Sub Tanks for the last stretch
