With your equipment recovered, you return to Groznyj Grad. Plant four C3 explosive charges on the fuel tanks in the main hangar to disable the Shagohod before it becomes fully operational.

Attacks- Electric-charged melee strikes
- Shotgun and machine-gun fire discharged from his own hands
Strategy- Dodge his electric attacks using CQC counters
- Shoot his blind spot from behind whenever you get the chance
- Back off completely when he starts charging up energy

Motorcycle Chase & The Shagohod
The explosion triggers an intense motorcycle chase, with EVA driving while you fire at pursuing soldiers. It ends on a devastated plain, face to face with the Shagohod itself, now piloted by Volgin.

Boss · HardThe nuclear-armed walking tank prototype that started this whole mission. Immobilize it before you can damage the pilot.
Attacks- Crushing tread charges
- Heavy cannon fire from the cockpit
Strategy- Fire the RPG-7 at the treads to immobilize it
- Follow up with rockets aimed directly at the cockpit to finish Volgin off for good

The Boss, In the Field of Flowers
Escaping toward the lake of the ekranoplans (WIG vehicles), you arrive at a field of white flowers by the water. It's time for the mission's true objective: The Boss herself.

Boss · DeadlyYou have ten minutes to defeat your mentor before incoming missiles level the entire field. Overcome her, and you inherit her title — Big Boss.
Attacks- Rapid CQC grabs that break your guard and slam you to the ground
- Point-blank shots from the Patriot after a successful grab
Strategy- Counter her grabs by pressing the prompt at the exact instant she grabs you — this staggers her briefly
- Hide among the flowers using white camouflage and finish her off with a rifle or sniper rifle
