The Altar — Lisa's Grave

You come out back in the cabin — grab the photograph on the table, then head to the shed and cross through the door back into the mansion proper.

Retrieve the stone-and-metal object you used to open the blue door back in the Grand Gallery passage. Open the second Jewelry Box from the tunnels to get the Stone Ring, then combine it with the other metal object you're carrying. Bring both Medallions — Wolf and Eagle — along with you, and head to the door tucked behind the Main Hall staircase.

Use your combined objects to unlock the door. As it opens, you hear Lisa Trevor's mournful cries echoing from somewhere deep inside.

Inside is a typewriter and item box. Take the Magnum and any herbs you can carry, and save before continuing — with no Grenade Launcher to rely on, this fight will lean heavily on your Magnum and Shotgun ammunition, so bring as much as your six slots allow.

Head down a stone passage with stairs, cross a door, and descend more stairs — you're back in the mine tunnels briefly before reaching a set of steps down into an underground Altar. Wesker is waiting there.

Before you can process the scene, a monster crashes in and the doors seal shut. "Chris, what are you waiting for — help me!" Wesker shouts, already fighting for his life. There's no dialogue choice here, just a fight that starts immediately.

Wesker mutters that he'll keep investigating this area a little longer, letting you go on ahead without him. Take the photograph inside the broken coffin before you leave.

Ride the elevator up into a garden with a fountain. Insert the Wolf Medallion and Eagle Medallion into the sockets at each end — the water drains away, revealing a hidden entrance to the underground laboratory. Descend and step through the door.
