Character Switch

During this segment, you control Carlos Oliveira. His objective is to procure a vaccine to save Jill from the T-Virus infection before it's too late. Carlos starts with his Assault Rifle (M4A1).

Finding the Vaccine
Raccoon General Hospital
- As Carlos, exit the Clock Tower and head to the nearby General Hospital.
- Encounter the Hunters (giant killer frogs). Keep your distance and use short bursts.
- Pick up the Tape Recorder from a doctor's corpse and use it on the elevator to activate the voice recognition.
- On the 4th floor, figure out the numeric code to open the secret vault in the data room (by looking at the moved painting).
- On the 3rd floor or basement (varies), find the vaccine base and the catalyst.
- Synthesize the Vaccine in the lab machine.
Warning
Nicholai has set explosives in the hospital. You must flee against the clock before the building blows up.

Saving Jill
Clock Tower Chapel
- Run back to the Clock Tower with the vaccine.
- Watch out for the mutated, more aggressive version of Nemesis that appears on the way, now sporting tentacles. Avoid him, as you lack lethal firepower.
- Reach the chapel and administer the vaccine to Jill. She recovers, and you resume playing as her for the rest of the game.
