    Water Sample Puzzle

    Waste Facility (Dead Factory)
    • Reach the waste treatment plant (an Umbrella front).
    • This is the final area. Explore the rooms and turn on the power.
    • You will reach the most infamous puzzle in the game: The Water Treatment System. Align the 3 wave channels so the overlap exactly matches the master wave graph above:
      • Channel A: Right 4 times
      • Channel B: Right 2 times
      • Channel C: Right 2 times
    • Upon solving it, main power is restored, and you can open the waste gates.

    Final Confrontation

    Disposal Room
    • Nemesis appears and you are pushed into the acid disposal room.
    • You must turn valves while dodging his deadly tentacle whips. Forcing him into the sulfuric acid sprays stuns him heavily. After taking enough damage, he drops his keycard.
    Rail Cannon
    • Head to the rear cargo bay. You'll find the Demolisher Rail Cannon (Sword of Paracelsus), a giant rail-mounted weapon used to annihilate BOWs.
    • Activate the sequence by booting up the power modules (push the batteries).
    • Nemesis Final Mutation appears (a massive amorphous blob).
    • Lure him into the rail cannon's firing path, distract him until the laser fires. Repeat 2 times.

    The Escape and the Missile

    • The nuclear missile has been launched toward Raccoon City.
    • After defeating the final monstrosity, quickly head to the outer helipad via the elevator.
    • If you made the right choices (jumping out the cable car window / helping Nicholai or leaving him), the ending varies slightly.
    • A helicopter piloted by Barry Burton (stellar cameo) will rescue you.
    • Enjoy the impressive (and tragic) final cutscene as Raccoon City is wiped off the map. Congratulations, you've beaten Resident Evil 3!
