Dryfield (Night)

After repelling No.9 and experiencing Aya's troubling visions, you regain control alongside Kyle Madigan:

• Exit to the street to inspect your disabled sedan outside the store.
• Head to the garage to talk to Gary Douglas and request his pickup truck. Douglas gives you the Reception Key (the building directly facing the public motel restrooms).
• Enter the front reception office and inspect the mechanical cash register on the counter. A memo on the back wall asks for the ages of two Old West legends; the paintings in Rooms 1 and 2 give Doc Holliday's and Wyatt Earp's birth years to work each age out from — 30 and 33, so the code reads 3033.

• Collect the Dryfield Master Keys, allowing you to unlock any locked door throughout the town.

• Climb to the upper walkway next to Room 6 and unlock the storage room with the master keys.
• Pick up the Empty Gas Can (Jerry Can) from the back corner.
• In that same room, a metal locker padlock guards the special relic Holy Water. The combination is a riddle scattered around Dryfield: count how many of each object you've spotted around town.

• Head downstairs to the gas pumps beside your sedan and use the Jerry Can to siphon Petrol.

• Deliver the fuel to Douglas in the garage. He instructs Aya to rest in Room 6 while he finishes tuning the truck.

  Mandatory True Ending Trigger: Kyle in the Bar

  Before heading upstairs to rest in Room 6, complete two essential preparations:

  1. Enter the Bar and talk to Kyle Madigan. This conversation is a mandatory, hidden condition for the True Ending.
  2. Purchase the M4A1 Assault Rifle along with 200+ rounds of 5.56mm ammo from Gary's trailer stash.

• Enter Room 6, save your game at the telephone, and choose to rest.
• Following the iconic shower sequence, night falls over Dryfield and a colossal horror assaults the balcony:

Cannon Mouth / Burner

Difficulty

A colossal heavy ANMC behemoth armed with an incendiary napalm organ. Failing to defeat it within 3 minutes causes it to retreat, killing Flint in the yard and locking you out of the True Ending.

• Continuous wide-arc napalm flamethrower spray (heavy sustained damage)
• Crushing grapple and claw swipe with giant arms
• Horizontal sweeping tail whip

Strategy

• CLOCK IS TICKING: You must defeat this boss in under 3 minutes to save Flint the hound.
• Take cover in the safe corner between your bedroom door and the storage room wall to restrict its claw angles.
• Keep Antibody and Energyshot active at all times. Necrosis magic is devastating against its chest core: cast it repeatedly to maintain poison tick damage.
• Unload full-auto bursts with the M4A1 or 40mm grenades directly into its head. If grabbed, rapidly mash all buttons to break free immediately.

• After defeating the beast, descend to the ground courtyard:
  • If defeated in under 3 minutes: Flint will be alive and greet you enthusiastically. Visit Douglas' trailer and open the metal floor chest to claim the Calico M950 Submachine Gun (100-round drum).
  • If over 3 minutes: Flint will have perished. You can search the green rusted car chassis outside the trailer to retrieve the Chicken Plate armor instead.
• Douglas presents you with the pickup truck keys.
• Open your sedan's trunk at the front gate and transfer all key items, weapons, and ammunition into the pickup truck's bed inside the garage.
• Speak with Kyle Madigan in the garage and confirm you are ready to depart for the mine (End of Disc 1).
