Chief Brian Irons and the Heart Key
Police Chief's Office (2F East)- Enter the private office of Police Chief Brian Irons. You will find him seated next to the corpse of Katherine Warren, the mayor's daughter. Irons behaves with erratic, threatening insanity.
- Insert the two Red Jewels into the statue busts in the east corridor to claim the Heart Key.
- Use the Heart Key on the rear office door to unlock Irons' private taxidermy collection room.

Controlling Sherry Birkin
Sherry's Gameplay Segment- Claire is temporarily separated and you take direct control of young Sherry Birkin. - Sherry cannot fight, so dodge past any wandering dogs or zombies in the lower corridors. - Reach the storage playroom and solve the colored block puzzle: rotate and arrange the blocks to form the continuous flower pattern. - Unlock the secret box to retrieve the Club Key and reunite with Claire.

The Secret Basement and William Birkin (G-1)
Underground Taxidermy Workshop- With Claire and Sherry together, use the private elevator in Irons' office to descend into the secret subterranean workshop.
- Irons loses his grip on reality before being ambushed by William Birkin (G-1).
William Birkin (G-1)
BossBirkin's first mutation after injecting himself with the G-Virus — a hulking, deformed brawler swinging a torn-off steel pipe.
Strategy- Equip the M79 Grenade Launcher loaded with Acid or Explosive Rounds.
- Keep circling the perimeter to avoid his heavy overhead steel pipe swings.
- Aim directly at the massive mutated eye growing out of his right shoulder.
- After 5 to 6 direct hits with Acid Rounds, Birkin will collapse over the safety railing into the chasm below.
