This walkthrough covers Leon S. Kennedy's playthrough (Scenario B), played after Claire's run — from his own arrival at Raccoon City through the R.P.D. precinct, the sewers, and Umbrella's underground laboratory. This guide is written for the Normal difficulty setting and works for the PlayStation, PC, Sega Dreamcast, and Nintendo GameCube releases.

Recommendations
- Save Magnum and Shotgun rounds for Lickers, the Tyrant, and Birkin — the Handgun and Knife cover regular zombies.
- The Shoulder Bag and Sub-Machine Gun in the R.P.D. armory only appear if Claire left them behind in her run.
- The Tyrant shows up repeatedly through the R.P.D. — you can always knock it down and move on instead of finishing it off.
- Keep at least one healing item in reserve before every boss fight; several of Leon's bosses hit hard and fast.
